Thomas Gains First 20K Win

Guy Thomas travelled to the Isle of Man at the weekend to do his first 20K walk in the Manx 20K Championship in Douglas and was rewarded with a win. The event took place in perfect conditions on the N.S.C perimeter roadway and with a number of local athletes providing the competition.

A previous winner was another TAC athlete, Tom Bosworth.

Guy's time of 90 minutes 17 seconds was a solid start to his 20K career as he moves up to the under 23 category at the end of this month, when 20K will be his standard distance. His times can be found here.

More detail on the event can be found here on the Manx Harriers website, crediting Guy as giving the race a higher profile!
