The Management Committee have been looking at the structure of the Club, the best way to take the Club forward and build on our success.
We have decided to become a charity and want to get more members and parents/carers involved in the Club. Consequently, we are setting up some groups to get us started and need your involvement.

If you would like to support your Club please let , or any of the committee know which of the groups below you would like to find out more about. We will also be available at the Open Meeting if you would like more information.

London Marathon Bag Handlers Sunday 23rd April 2017

It’s that time of year again. If you fancy helping out at the World’s Biggest Marathon, TAC are looking for a team of 14 volunteers to help as baggage handlers at this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April.

It’s a long day, leaving by minibus from Tonbridge Station at around 8am and returning to Tonbridge at about 7.30pm. Our job as a team is to sort and return approx. 2500 competitor bags. There is a great atmosphere with plenty of celeb spotting and it’s a fantastic opportunity to be an important part of this unique event – a great addition to your CV! Free lunches are provided. You will also receive a commemorative medal or pin, a London Marathon “staff” jacket and a small financial incentive (£20.00).

TAC has a long history of being part of this prestigious event and there is a core team of experienced volunteers, so don’t worry if you are new – there are plenty of old-hands to show you the ropes.

Although the regulars will be given first refusal, there are always a few places up for grabs on a first come – first serve basis. If you would like to be part of the Team, please call me on 01732 457137 or 07713 631157 (email
